The International Council of Ayurvedic Medicine was founded by Dr. Ajit (BAMS), the most experienced Ayurvedic practitioner in the region to provide a voice for Ayurvedic practitioners in Australia. It was incorporated as a registered association in 2014.
The formation of the Association has come about to assist in developing and supporting consistent standards of ayurvedic practice throughout Australia. We propose to do this through the identification of recognised standards of practice, the promotion of Ayurveda as a reputable and effective health science, and the protection of members of the public from inappropriate practices. And for all this we need your support so have attached a membership application for your consideration.

Memberships

Level-1

Ayurvedic Doctor / Ayurvedic Practitioner
Individuals who have completed Advanced Diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine or higher from a registered training organisation.

Level-2

Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant
Individuals who have completed Diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine from a registered training organisation.

Level-3

Student who are currently completing Diploma in Ayurvedic Medicine from a registered training organisation.

Level-4

Associate Members
Members from different countries, other associations, or companies.

Student Membership

Individuals currently studying for Ayurvedic qualifications that fulfil the criteria set by the association.
