Research Centre/Resources

ICAM Research Centre is an exclusive only to members of ICAM. Our research centre provides members with access to information and resources based on the best available evidence in Ayurveda to help support and inspire ongoing educational development for our practitioners. As part of our vision and mission we aim to bring the best and most up to date research to our members. Our research centre has also customized all information into separate sections based on Ayurveda’s unique understanding of Ayurvedic Anatomy and Physiology (Sharira Rachana and Kriya Sharira), Ayurvedic clinical diagnosis (Pariksha Vidhi Vigyana) and Ayurvedic remedial bodywork and pathophysiology (Kaya Chikitsa). This will ensure that what you are looking for will be easy to find and all facets of Ayurveda will be covered.

In addition to this, all current research documents will then be referenced with recommendations on chapters to read Charka Samhita, Ashtanga Hridya as well as module and page number in AIAS module learning notes or learning sections from other courses/Ayurveda schools. A practitioner accessing this resource will then have the ability to enhance their learning by revisiting topics covered as a student and be inspired to read the ancient texts and current research.
All research and published evidence will also be reviewed for quality. The ICAM Research Team will constantly monitor current evidence thereby ensuring that it fits with our current scope of practice. Published journals such as case studies and treatments will also be presented to provide members with up to date resources that will support their ongoing education and clinical practice and be in keeping with our vision, mission and aims and objectives.
